Set-stake Dutching is a type of Dutch bet where you don’t budge from the size of your bet. Say you have £10 to bet on a horse race. You split your bet by Dutching between two horses, with a large proportion of your stake on the favourite, and a smaller proportion on the outsider. It doesn’t matter what the profit is, you stick to the ratio of your stake split, in order to maintain consistency and control of your balance. Read Paddy’s guide to Dutch betting for more info.
