Good Shepherd Centre

The Good Shepherd Centre provides support for newly arrived families and individuals, particularly from Eastern Europe – and to refugees and asylum seekers. They have OISC trained advisers for when people are applying for EUSS.

The Good Shepherd Centre offers :

  • Morning Prayer + coffee, general discussion and social support
  • Drop-In : one to one support; help with accessing education, health and other services; translation, if necessary
  • a reporting centre for race hate crime
  • free classes for English, computers and parenting
  • Parent and Toddler Group
  • a welcome to asylum seekers and refugees – a place of safety
  • outreach support to schools
  • occasional social events for newly arrived families
